THE SINGING SENIORS of Warren County and surrounding counties will be the guest singers at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at BUFFALO SPRINGS MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH in Westmoreland, TN., for homecoming.  A fellowship meal will follow the 11:00 a.m. service.  Don Curtis is pastor.

Joey and Rory Feek: “When I’m Gone”

“And now, here I sit beside my dying wife.
I don’t say those words lightly. As a matter-of-fact, I haven’t said them at all. But my beautiful bride has said them to me in these couple of days. Her pain and discomfort has continued to increase daily and so has the morphine to help her be comfortable. The dosage she’s needed to keep the pain away has quadrupled in the last four days.
I’d like to tell you that she’s doing great and is going to beat this thing. But I can’t.”

Joey and Indiana

Joey is dying of cancer, has fought a courageous fight for months and is currently in hospice care. She and Rory have a one-year-old daughter, Indiana, who will turn two in February. Rory says that Joey is ready to go ‘home’ now.

Singing's

The Brantley Brothers, Pleasant Union Trio, The Golden Keys, The Sneed Family and Jock United Baptist Church Choir will be in concert at 7 p.m. Jan 8 at the Edmonson County High School auditorium. There is no admission, and a love offering will be taken.

The Sneed Family will sing at 7 p.m. Jan. 9 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Smiths Grove, KY.  and at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at Egypt Christian Church in Columbia, KY.

I have started a NEW blog site.  If you sing Solo or group send your news and information and we will post it. We will promote you or your group.  For the pastor or church you can use this blog as a directory to find singers for you venue. And for you the fan of gospel music this will be a place to see who is singing and where. Hope this site will be of a service to all. One more thing.
